Description: Cathy is a Canadian quilter & folk singer/songwriter, who with her musician husband, John Bunge, have toured an educational and entertaining program of folk songs, stories, and quilts to over 350 guilds and guilting events around North America, Australia and Nw Zealand, The U.K., and Germany.

Description: Bring your ugly quilt finds to this fun filled event. Fabulous prizes will be awarded in categories such as worse hand quilting, worse piecing, most horrendous color combos, and viewers choice.

Challenge Night!
Description: The 2008 challange is star related. This meeting is for members to complete any size quilt that incorporates seven stars. At least one must be a rising star. Complete rules outlined in your membership booklet. Awards will be given! Good luck to all participants!

Title: When Finishing is Highly Overrated.
Description: Why do we quilt? Are we really trying to cover the world (or at least all the beds in our world) with our quilts? Or perhaps we quilt with an entirely different goal in mind. If finishing is a lifelong goal, or a dirty word, we will enjoy this talk. Included a trunk show.
